Heat pulsed from Leopardshadow at an alarming rate. The mottled head warrior was muttering in her sleep and Darkshadow was on his paws in an instant. His eyes widened as the she-cat started shaking violently, her eyes snapping open. Foam bubbled from her mouth as she continue to shake. Darkshadow's paws seemed frozen in place as he yowled for the LightningClan medicine cat. The spotted she-cat was there ion a single heartbeat, Wavepaw right behind her.
"What's wrong?" waile Darkshadow, his heart being pierced by an icy claw. The she-cats ignored him and held her down.
"Go get some soaked moss!" barked Shinestream, glaring at him. He nodded abruptedly and pelted to Clearwater Spring. Clawing some moss of a tree trunk, he dunked it, and pelted back as fast as possible. Skidding into the den, he saw Leopardshadow wasn't shaking, but heat still vibrated off of her in waves. He threw the moss on the ground and launched himself on the ground beside the cat he thought was as beautiful as the sun itself and the stars that were their warrior ancestors.
"Don't leave me!" he begged, watching her closely. A tail rested on his shoulder and a soft voice spoke.
"She's okay. She vomited up a bad mouse. She's fine," soothed Shinestream, looking at him. She glanced at Wavepaw and pointed at him with her tail.
"Thyme," she ordered her apprentice, who disappeared for a heartbeat and came back with a sweet, tangy smelling herb. It soothed his stiffened muscles and he sank to the floor, curling up next to Leopardshadow. Her breathing was even and her fever was gone, for no heat pulsed from her sleeping mound of tabby fur. He wanted to tell her how he felt, but not until she recovered.

Recovery

"GET UP, YOU MOUSEBRAIN!" screeched a female voice. Darkshadow sprang to his paws, his fur bristling and saw Leopardshadow eyes sparkling teasingly.
"Let's hunt!" she exclaimed and bounded out of camp, flicking her tail. He had no idea how she was so hyper, but he raced into the forest after her, wanting to only hunt with her forever and no other cat.

Graymuzzle sat at the edge of the camp.There really wasn't much for him to right at the moment.To be honest he was just plain bored. He began where his apprentice was.Maybe they could go training?

As Darkshadow and his recovered mate bounded out of camp, Berrysplash silently followed, her lean muscles flexing as she raced through the forest. She had never felt this good, since Leopardshadow's sickness. She stopped at a clearing surrounded with brambles and peeked through the bushes and saw Darkshadow purring beside his mate.

As Darkshadow runs through the forest, looking for prey with Leopardshadow he thinks "I'm so happy Leopardshadow recovered. But i'll have to ask her sometime soon".
As Leopardshadow is running through the forest as she spotted a fat squirrel eating a nut. She pounces and kills it with a swift bit of the neck. Then she turns around and sees Darkshadow thinking. " Whats wrong? " she asked a little worry in her voice.
"Leopardshadow, come over here. I need to ask you something" Darkshadow asked Leopardshadow
Berrysplash slinks throught the bushes like a mouse, silently avoiding any leaves that could crackle underneath her paws. But, her luck failing, a twig snapped under the weight of her paws and she froze in mid-step. The couple turned their heads in her direction.

" Ok is everything ok? " she asked her voice muffled from the squirrel then drops it and walks over to him and sits down in front of him head slightly tilted.
"Yes, everything's fine.." Darkshadow's voic drops to a quiet mew. "But, i've got to ask this: Will you be my mate?"
" Really? I..I mean...Yes.. of course!!!! " * starts licking his cheek and muzzle *
"Th-that's great! I'm so happy you said yes"!
" Now come on "mate" lets finish hunting!" * licks his nose then jumps up and waits for him to get up *
*Gets up* "There's a mouse over there". *Flicks his tail to the left.
" Go get it then dont just stand there " she whispers in a amusing voice.
*Stalks the mouse in the bushes, pounces, and catches it* "Brings it over to Leopardshadow, "here, you have. I can catch another". *Pushes the mouse towards her*
She looks at him fierce love in her eyes as she takes the mouse. " Thank you! " she purrs and nuzzles his cheek. " Ill keep the squirrel for the clan."
"Do you want to go back to the clan or stay out here?" he asks inquisitenly
" As long as im with you it doesnt matter.." she meows in a loving voice.
"Well then, let's go back to the camp and tell Tornadostar" he purred
Berrysplash gags at the lovey dovey comment (haha lol) and slowly pads closer to the couple. Berrysplash flicks her tail in amusement. "They sure do love each other!" she whispers to no one in particular.

" Ok! " she meows like an excited kit. " Catch me if u can!! " she meows taking off the squirrel in her jaws.
*Sprints after Leopardshadow playfully* "Wait up!!!"
Berrysplash knows they dont want her anymore so she slowly and sadly walks back to camp, her head and tail drooped.

She reaches camp panting looking around for her daughter to tell her. " Wheres Berrysplash? " she asked worry in her voice.
Berrysplash hides in the dirt place and hears Leopardshadow ask where she is. Berrysplash looks at her paws in sadness, knowing she doesnt really love her. Berrysplash heads away from camp, walking deeper and deeper into the quiet forest.
